Delivery Policy & Terms of Service

At Oceania Appliances, we strive to provide an efficient and transparent delivery experience. By placing an order with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions regarding the transport and receipt of your appliances.


1. Delivery Areas and Fees

Sydney Metropolitan Area

We offer Free Delivery to all addresses within the Sydney Metropolitan region.

Regional New South Wales (NSW)

We deliver to regional areas including the Central Coast, Newcastle, Wollongong, Gosford, and the Blue Mountains.

  • Fees: Delivery to these regions incurs a variable fee based on distance from our Wetherill Park facility.

  • Quotes: We will confirm any applicable delivery charges with you prior to order finalization.

Outside New South Wales

Currently, we do not offer shipping or delivery services outside of New South Wales. Orders placed with delivery addresses outside NSW cannot be fulfilled.


2. Handling and Transit Times

  • Handling Time: We aim to process and dispatch all orders within one business day. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be dispatched on the following business day.

  • Sydney Metro Transit: Typically arrives within 1–3 business days post-dispatch.

  • Regional NSW Transit: Typically arrives within 3–7 business days. Please note that regional deliveries may be grouped on specific days for logistical efficiency.


3. Delivery Terms and Safety Requirements

Ground-Floor Delivery Only

To maintain our complimentary delivery service, all deliveries are strictly Ground Floor Only (e.g., driveway, porch, or garage).

  • No Stairs: Our drivers operate solo with standard equipment. The driver reserves the right to refuse delivery involving stairs.

  • No Disassembly: Our drivers are not equipped or authorized to remove refrigerator doors or residential doors to facilitate entry.

  • Insurance Limitations: Our insurance policy does not cover damages or injuries that occur while attempting to move items beyond the ground floor or through restricted access points.

  • Assistance: If you require an item to be moved beyond the ground floor, you must provide a capable person to assist the driver. Such requests are at the driver's discretion and Oceania Appliances is not liable for any resulting damage.

Scheduling and Missed Deliveries

  • Timeframes: Deliveries are conducted between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM, 7 days a week. We will contact you to provide a specific window.

  • Attendance: An authorized adult must be present to receive the delivery.

  • Redelivery Fee: If the driver is unable to complete the delivery at the scheduled time (after a 10–15 minute wait), the order will be returned to our facility. A $100 redelivery fee must be paid before a second attempt is made.

Site Access and Safety

Customers must ensure the delivery path is clear of obstacles, hazards, and pets. If a delivery area is deemed unsafe by the driver, delivery will be refused until the area is made safe.


4. Liability and Third-Party Services

Oceania Appliances utilizes independent third-party couriers. Once the product is in transit, it is under the care of the delivery professional.

  • Inspection: Please inspect your appliance immediately upon arrival. Any transit-related damage must be reported to the driver at the time of delivery.

  • Liability: Oceania Appliances is not liable for loss, damage, or injury occurring during transport or final delivery.
